After the final examination,I received a letter from my aunt and uncle who invited me to stay with them for a fortnight. The news brought me a restless night. The next morning at ten,I reached their home and I was kindly received by them. They prepared a very nice and airy room for me.Just coming inside,on a small table I found a vase of roses---my favourite flower.I thanked them for their kindness. When they told me to take a rest,I really could not do so.My attention was drawn by the charming and picturesque scenery outside the window. If I were an artist I would have drawn a wonderful picture of it.

Every morning we took a walk in the neighbouring hills where we could enjoy the fresh air and sweet songs of the birds. We gathered wild flowers here and there among the bushes,I found it full of fun.In the afternoon I mostly spent my time reading or writing, for I was shut in the house by the terrible beat. The evening was the only time we could go to swim together.I improved my swimming during those two weeks.

Just as the saying goes: life is not all roses, all of use will need someone else’ s help to deal with problems that we may encounter in our life. Here comes the question: whom will you turn to for help? Some say they will ask their classmates or friends for help, because they are peers, thus they can understand each other easily.
However, others have different choices when in trouble. They are inclined to tell their teachers and parents the difficulties they are faced with. In their opinion, teachers and parents, who are much older than them, can give them a hand with their rich experience.
As for me, close friends are always the people who come to my mind firstly when I am intrigued by something that can not be solved by myself. If we can not figure out a solution by our joint effort, I will go to my teachers or parents for help. With their suggestions or instructions, I can finally find the best way to cope with my troubles.

I was so excited when i entered the college. For so many years, I worked hard to achieve this dream and finally i made it. Everything seemed fresh and curious to me. I was so pleased that I would enjoy my college life soon.
when i was in high school, I had to study all the time and hardly had spare time to do what i wanted to.Besides, I had to focus on my textbooks and doing exercise again and again. Therefore, I had little time to read magazines and novels and watch TV. what was worse, I couldn't play with my friends a lot, which I couldn't stand the most. In a word, all i did in high shool should be considered for the College Entrance Examination. dedecms.com
However, my college life is totally different from the life in high school.I can arrange my time freely. I spend most of my time reading in the library, where I can open my eyes and broaden my mind.In my free time, I also join some clubs, where i can make a lot of friends of different majors. My teachers in college are so kind and knowledgeable that they not only teach us knowledge but also how to be a person and how to get on with others. In addition, there are more opportunities for me to improve myself.
I believe college life is an important stage in my life. In college, i can learn how to learn by myself, how to get on with others, how to live independently.College provides me with a stage where i can show myself and be myself.

Why It Is Difficult ron College Students to Find Jobs?
I don’t think I can find a good job after graduation.
More and more college students, in recent years, are finding it difficult to find jobs. This may sound strange since college students used to be the "most favored" people in society. They have received a higher education, hence they are more intelligent, knowledgeable than their counterparts who failed to attend college. But chances are that some of them can hardly find jobs after graduating from colleges. There are two reasons that account for this strange phenomenon. One is that some college students cannot come to terms with themselves and with the world around them. They pursue too high goals and are too particular about such factors as working conditions, salary, and so on. Therefore, they are reluctant to accept the job when they are offered to them. Another reason is that the majors some students pursue do not match with the demands of the job market. As a result, they can only sit and miss opportunities.
To solve this problem, I think college students should know their own strengths and w
eaknesses and have the right attitude towards themselves and the job vacancies. In addition, they should not attach too much importance to material aspects of the job. They should put priority to their future development and their contributions to society in stead. Furthermore, they should think of receiving some further training to meet the demands of society.

can computers replace paper and pen?
提綱
people often say we have entered the electronic age. computers have become the center of life. no one can live and work without computers. in the future, everyone can work and study at home hefore a pc. there won't be piles of files. instead, a disc is ok enough.
with the appearance of printers, the pen becomes less useful than before. and since the computer was created, paper is also gradually giving way to the screen, which can show lively moving things from different sides in the same picture. it is true that with the developmem of science, such products as computers and printers will be the major tools in our future life and work. but the traditional tools will also eist for a long time to supplement the function of the modern ones. at least, we still need pens to sign with and paper to sign on.
Drawings can be useful tools; a simple picture may reveal a profound truth. Theillustration above, for example, is far from complicated, and yet carries deep implications;from the top of a mountain one can see clear and far.
Such an image draws attention to the fact that people tend to be distracted by immediatebenefits, or deterred by present difficulties. If one was to stand higher and take a broader view, one could make wise, long?term decisions, as well as have a clearer sense of how to solve anygiven problem.
The importance of keeping things in perspective is of practical significance to universitystudents especially. When students face difficult decisions such as choosing between majors orcareers, or deciding whether to continue with postgraduate education, they should considertheir future life in broad terms. If you allow yourself to become preoccupied by immediateinterests or discouraged by current obstacles, you might not make the wisest decisions.
Nevertheless, it is important to realize that viewing our lives from a far is not equal toaiming for an unattainable goal. Inexperienced youth must be careful to realistically create andpursue their ambitions.
It is best to look beyond temporary needs and problems and keep one's present andfuture life in perspective.
Before I started at university,I took my first job as a waitress in a nice restaurant. At the night before my first day.I was too excited to go to sleep and as a result,I got up late in the morning.I threw on my clothes and rushed over to the restaurant.
In a GREat hurry,I didn't hear clearly the head waiter's instruction that we should go into the kitchen through one door and out from the other. So when I took two plates of eggs and bacon and an orange juice out to the restaurant,I went straight towards the wrong door and collided with another waiter coming in!
Worst of all was that I wore a pair of smart shoes but with high heels! A few hours later I was in agony yet had no time to change them. By the time we finished serving dinner at about 10:30 I was completely exhausted. Nevertheless, I learnt something through my experience.
