my taste
since i was a child, i always dream about playing table tennis. i did play some nice ball games, but i often got beaten badly. however, it didn‘t reduce my interest in table tennis. i was crazy to stand in front of table and raised my paddle. as soon as i got off the school, i would rash to tennis table right away. there were few tables on the school, therefore i had to wait for a long time to play but my skill didn‘t improve much. nevertheless, i didn‘t care about it. i thought i had a good time in playing table tennis and i listed it as my best taste.
now, i am grow-up and have left school for a while. i don‘t have time and hardly find a friend to play table tennis. but doctor said i needed some eercise for my health. i figured out i still could play table tennis, only if i played the ball against the wall. many of my friends passed by my house. they llikely came in to see me, because they heard the noices of ball bouncing back and forth. it was my eercises in playing table tennis without table. they were curious about my crazy action. i didn‘t mind they made fun about me. i, on the other hand, liked to introduce to them that was my taste and fancy way of eercise.

My college life is very interesting though some students think it is dull.I have got a good habit every day.Getting up early in the morning, I go to the playground to do some sports. Running is my favourite. Then I get back to do some washing. I go to the dining hall to have my breakfast. I enjoy the dishes there.Then I go to my classroom for my lessons. I listen to the teachers very attentively and make notes of what the teachers say. I am active in class.When I have some trouble in my lessons, I will ask my teachers. The teachers are very kind to us students.Usually I have my lunch a little late because there are many students at the right time for lunch.I always have a big lunch. After lunch, I have a nap till two in the afternoon.I have three classes in the afternoon.I often go to the library after class to look for what I want---information,books,magazines and so on.After supper, I go to my classroom for evening self study.I go back to my bedroom at 10. In my understanding, if we refer to an ideal college life as a formal western dinner, then a high GPA, that is, Grade Point Average, should be the main course, while an active part in activities, together with associations, means the appetizer. Some romances, of course, play the role as desserts. They are the 3 key elements for an ideal college life. Those, however, are not what college life is all about. As we all know, college is wildly different from middle school. It connects not only adolescence to adulthood, but also the ivory tower to the real society. Therefore, the ideal college life is that I become matured both physically and mentally, and that I obtain qualified academic knowledge and get well prepared for society at the same time. Under this circumstance, I never expect my college life to be too ideal, or you can call it too perfect. It is not realistic to make all things on my own way, with everyone liking me, winning the first prize all the time, and so on. Of course, I’d like to lead a carefree life. However, this does little good to my future. What really helps is hardships like failure, betrayal, and unjust treatment. Only after experiencing those can I know what society is like, and what life is like. To conclude my speech, I wanna say, some positive experiences are surely part of the ideal college life. But, I should not forget about the negative sides. They are not less necessary.

When I was in high school, go to college ismy dream. Now I realize my dream. excited as I am, the first time I see my college.
在高中的時(shí)候上大學(xué)就是我的夢(mèng)想�，F(xiàn)在我實(shí)現(xiàn)了我的夢(mèng)想。第一次看到我的大學(xué)時(shí)，我很興奮。
My college is inside the biggest university of Guangxi so that everytime I have to across a big campus to go out. At first Iam upset about that, but later on I get used to it. My college looks modernization in general. When I arrive at the school gate, the first thing is the boys’ dormitory and then is the playground. Look up! I see the canteen. I see the girls’ dormitory turn left. But where is my classroom? I look around but can’t find it. It turns out that it is separated by burrows. It’s strange,right? While I go across the burrow, I see another two big playgrounds and a tenniscourt at my left side. What is in my right side? Turn right, I see rows of teaching building connecting with the library. This is my college. I like it notonly because of the evironment but also the people there.

Both the teachers and students there are very nice. My roomates always help me in the daily life, the thing they usually do is wake me up in the morning. Other classmates always help me, when I meet trouble in study. My teachers are all kind and knowlegeable. Especially my head teacher, he talks with us and plays sports with us in order to make us get used to the new life.

These days I have beenleisure but bored after finishing the final exam. In fact, I really don’t likethe way I have lived in these days, because I feel like a foolish that can'tfind my values and have to be supported by others. That made me crazy.Therefore, I consider that people should find and achieve their values in lives,especially female. Obviously, work is an important way to achieve our values.However, why is work important in our life?
期末考試過(guò)后的這幾天我很閑但是也很無(wú)聊。事實(shí)上，我真的不喜歡這幾天的這種生活方式，因?yàn)槲腋杏X(jué)像個(gè)傻子一樣找不到我的價(jià)值而要靠別人養(yǎng)活。這使我瘋掉了。所以，我認(rèn)為人應(yīng)該找到并實(shí)現(xiàn)自己的生活價(jià)值，特別是女性。很明顯，工作是 實(shí)現(xiàn)我們價(jià)值的重要方式。但是，為什么工作在我們的生活中如此重要呢？
Firstly, work isthe only way for us to satisfy our basic needs. In order to get food, clothesand other living conditions to live happily, we have to work hard. In thisaspect, work is a natural responsibility for us, for our families. But usually,those who just consider work as a kind of responsibility regard work as a heavyburden in their life and they will feel really tired after a period of time,even some of which will choose to renounce the responsibility they have.Therefore, workmust have other positive meanings in deeper respect.
首先，工作是我們滿足基本需要的唯一方式。為了獲取食物，衣服還有其他生存條件以幸福生活，我們必須努力工作。在這方面，工作對(duì)我們以及對(duì)家人來(lái)說(shuō)是自然的責(zé)任。但是，通常那些只把工作當(dāng)做一種責(zé)任的人，也把工作當(dāng)做是生活中的一種壓力。經(jīng)過(guò)一段時(shí)間后他們就會(huì)覺(jué)得很累，甚至有的`人會(huì)選擇放棄他們的責(zé)任。因此，工作必須有在更深層面有積極的意義。
In addition, I strongly feel inthese days that work is an important way to achieve ourselves. Just as Maslowsays that human has five needs: physiological needs, safety needs, love andbelonging, esteem, self-actualization and self-transcendence. In my opinion,work is relative to the higher hierarchy of needs. We always need to achieveour value and worth to gain esteem or recognition from others by some ways,especially by work. I think it is easyto appear in the younger those who have some mature thoughts, so that mostteenagers will try their best to get rid of their parents’ care to make a livingby themselves. In this aspect, working is not only a way to make a living, butalso a way for us to achieve ourselves. In other words, working can bring satisfactionto us in spiritual.
另外，這幾天我有強(qiáng)烈的感覺(jué)，工作是實(shí)現(xiàn)自我的重要方式。正如馬斯洛所說(shuō)，人有五大需求：生理需求，安全需求，愛(ài)與歸屬，自尊，自我實(shí)現(xiàn)和自我超越。在我看來(lái)，工作與更高層次的需求有關(guān)。我們總是需要實(shí)現(xiàn)我們的價(jià)值，想要通過(guò)某些方法，尤其是通過(guò)工作，從別人那里獲得自尊或認(rèn)可。我認(rèn)為這對(duì)有成熟想法的年輕人來(lái)說(shuō)是很容易的，所以大部分的青年會(huì)盡量擺脫父母的照顧獨(dú)自謀生。從這一方面來(lái)看，工作不僅是謀生手段，也是我們實(shí)現(xiàn)自我的手段。換句話說(shuō)，工作能夠給我們帶來(lái)精神上的滿足。

An Excellent School Art Festival 精彩的學(xué)校藝術(shù)節(jié)
Our school art festival is held once a year. I think this year’s was excellent because a lot of students and teachers took part in it. At first, the students of Class1 Grade6 danced the Gangnam Style. How wonderful they were! Then, English teachers had an English Choir. How good they were! I liked these two programs. Finally the students of Class3 Grade7 sang pop songs. They sang so wonderfully! At last they won the first prize.
