　　我開(kāi)始觀察這次比賽的評(píng)委。坐在評(píng)委席左側(cè)的是一位漂亮的中年阿姨，是五中的優(yōu)秀英語(yǔ)老師，聽(tīng)說(shuō)她以嚴(yán)厲治學(xué)出名。中間那重量級(jí)的評(píng)委看起來(lái)大腹便便，看起來(lái)還真是“重”呢！

　　右邊是位外國(guó)阿姨，金發(fā)白皮膚，很和善愛(ài)笑的.樣子，她是三峽大學(xué)外語(yǔ)系的教授。我一邊注意觀察著評(píng)委，一邊和身旁的同學(xué)交頭接耳，聲音可能是有一點(diǎn)大，剛好被那位外國(guó)評(píng)委聽(tīng)見(jiàn)了，很不好意思，本以為她會(huì)責(zé)備我們，沒(méi)想到她竟然笑瞇瞇地給我們打了個(gè)招呼，我們簡(jiǎn)直有點(diǎn)“受寵若驚”。

On weekends, I usually go shopping with my mother, sometimes I climb moutains with my father. I love my parents very much and they love me. I like eating fruits and vegetables, because I want to be healthy. Fish is my favorite food. It’s yummy. In four seasons, I like winter best. Because I like playing with snow. I made a beautiful snowman with my parents last year. I was very happy. I hope it will snow this year too. I have a dog. His name is Xixi.

　　The 21st CENTURY speech contest was held on Friday afternoon in the lecture hall, Gaoxin

　　Campus. It was great. Each grade in our school had a speech contest. Eighteen candidates from Grade Six took part in it. The first three winners would go to the next grade.

　　All of the speakers prepared well for the speech. When the contest began, some of the speakers were very nervous as they were giving speech to the audience.

　　The thing that made me shocked was, when the speakers were giving a speech and the fellow students were so quiet that you could hear the speakers clearly. When our class speakers went up, our whole class was cheering, it was crazy. The speakers delivered their speeches very fluently that I couldn’t even do it so good.

　　I remember all of the speakers talked about their parents. They said all of the good things about their parents, but no one said their flaws. But I think everyone has already done a great job. They all did their best.

　　Congratulations to all the candidates on their excellent jobs. I hope all of them will do better and better in the future.
